History It all started back in 1962, when William (Bill) Powell
converted his seven-up delivery truck into Bill’s Delivery Service.
Bill Powell still is active in the business and is grooming the 2nd generation
of family to eventually take over the business and carry out the same
philosophies he has instilled for over 40 years; "Treat your customers
and employee’s fair and your business will grow and be successful."
Bill has seen his business grow from his one truck in 1962 to over 80
pieces of equipment. The company has been through a few different name
changes and is now Powell Relocation Group. The new name change reflects
the innovative thinking of the Powell family and willingness to change
with the times. Nowadays, if you are just another Moving and Storage Company,
you won’t be around for the long haul. People and businesses are
